What’s new in Sales Booster
What changes in each version, told by what it changes for the person selling.
Back up your site before you update. It’s a good habit with any plugin and with WordPress itself: if something goes wrong, you restore it and your shop is back as it was.
Version 1.7.4 { September 29, 2026 }Latest
- The Purchase popup in Real mode no longer falls back to simulated purchases: with no completed or processing orders in the last 30 days it stays hidden, the panel tells you, and it comes back on its own with your next real order. See how it works
- In Real mode each popup shows the city of its own order, or no city at all, never one taken from the list.
Version 1.7.3 { September 29, 2026 }
- New installs start with real data: Recent sales and the Purchase popup in Real mode, and the People viewing counter off, since its number is not measured from real visits. If you update, your settings stay as they were.
- Every element now has a help guide with screenshots at help.doxstudio.com. See how it works
- The period reads right in singular: "in the last 1 hour" instead of "1 hours", and the popup says "1 hour ago" and "1 day ago".
- The admin panel in English no longer shows Spanish leftovers, and the Free shipping tab shows the current shortcode, [dsb_free_shipping].
Version 1.7.2 { September 21, 2026 }
- Internal tweaks, nothing changes in what you see.
Version 1.7.1 { September 21, 2026 }
- The Dox Plugins menu and its front page list the plugins in alphabetical order, and the button on each card now reads Open.
- An upload cut short no longer takes the whole site down: the plugin checks that it arrived whole, and if not, its settings are still reachable from the menu.
Version 1.7.0 { September 21, 2026 }
Settings under the Dox Plugins menu
The settings now live in Dox Plugins › Sales Booster, a shared menu with a front page listing every Dox Studio plugin you have installed. Same screen, same settings.
See how it works- Stores in Spanish from Colombia, Mexico or any other variant got the plugin in English; now they get it in Spanish, block editor included.
- With a coupon applied, the free shipping bar could congratulate the customer on free shipping the checkout did not give. It now works out the amount exactly like WooCommerce, taxes and coupons included. See how it works
- Updating from 1.5.0 or earlier could show the counters twice on the product page; that no longer happens.
- The Period dropdown of the Recent sales Elementor widget no longer comes up blank.
- After emptying the city list, the panel no longer warns that the popup will show no city, since it uses your country's list.
- Deleting the plugin now cleans up everything it saved.
Version 1.6.0 { September 20, 2026 }
Shows up on the product page by itself
People viewing, Recent sales and Low stock can now place themselves on the product page, in the Position you choose (after the price, above or below the add to cart button...). On for new installs, off when you update, so nothing shows up twice.
See how it worksColors without Elementor
Those three elements now have Colors in the settings panel, so a store without Elementor can make them readable on a dark theme. The blocks got the same color controls.
See how it works- The free shipping bar now shows up in the side cart built with blocks (the block Mini Cart). See how it works
- The popup sample cities follow your store country instead of the site language, with lists for 10 countries. If there is no list for yours, the popup shows the time without a city. See how it works
- In the block cart, the free shipping message could stay without its amount after changing quantities.
- The panel preview of Recent sales showed the period untranslated.
- Emptying the city list no longer brings back five Colombian cities.
Version 1.5.0 { September 20, 2026 }
The plugin follows your site language
The panel, the widgets and the texts your customers see were all in Spanish. Now they are in English, with Spanish included, so each store sees the plugin in its own WordPress language.
- The free shipping shortcode is now [dsb_free_shipping]; the old [dsb_envio_gratis] still works, so your pages are not touched. See how it works
- The free shipping texts accept {amount} for the missing amount; {precio} and {price} still work.
- The recent sales text in an English store read "24 horas"; the period now shows in your language.
- New installs start with a free shipping amount of 100 instead of 150000. Stores that already saved one keep theirs.
- You can find the blocks by searching "shipping", "sales" or "inventory" in the block inserter.
- The panel preview no longer uses a Spanish sample product with a price in Colombian format.
Version 1.4.0 { July 10, 2026 }
Real sales in Recent sales
Recent sales has a Data mode: in Real it counts the units actually sold of that product in the period you set. With no sales, the text is hidden instead of making up a number.
See how it works- The People viewing and Recent sales shortcodes and blocks can point to a specific product, to use them outside its page.
- In Simulated mode, Recent sales no longer changes on every reload: the number stays the same for the whole period and for every visitor.
- The People viewing number no longer jumps on every reload: it picks up where it was and changes little by little.
- Both counters keep working on sites that cache their pages.
Version 1.3.1 { July 8, 2026 }
- The bar moves: diagonal stripes, a shine, a smooth fill and a little pop when free shipping is reached. It stays still if the phone or computer is set to reduce motion.
- The free shipping bar now shows up on Cart and Checkout pages built with blocks, and updates without reloading when quantities or coupons change. See how it works
Version 1.3.0 { July 8, 2026 }
Free shipping bar
A bar that tells the customer how much is missing for free shipping, with a success message and your colors. It shows up by itself in the mini cart, the cart and the checkout, each one on or off.
See how it works- The amount can be your own or the minimum order of WooCommerce's "Free shipping" method for the customer's shipping zone. See how it works
- The bar updates without reloading when the customer adds products, changes quantities or uses a coupon.
- Ignore coupons option, to count the subtotal before discounts.
- You can also place the bar with a shortcode, an Elementor widget or a block. See how it works
- A Free shipping tab in the panel with a live preview and a slider to simulate the cart.
Version 1.2.3 { July 6, 2026 }
- Each line of the purchase popup (title, price, time and city, link) has its own Text size. Until you change them, the popup looks the same.
- The popup preview in the panel fits without scrolling sideways and has the popup's real width.
Version 1.2.2 { July 4, 2026 }
- Products with variations showed the price twice in the purchase popup; now they show "From" and the lowest price.
- After updating the plugin, the popup picks up the fix right away instead of up to 3 hours later.
Version 1.2.1 { July 4, 2026 }
- In stores in Colombian pesos, the purchase popup showed strange codes instead of the price; it now shows the amount, sale prices and price ranges included.
Version 1.2.0 { July 2, 2026 }
Real purchases in the popup
The purchase popup can use your real recent orders: the product, the city and how long ago, always without the buyer's name.
See how it worksLow stock notice
A notice of few units left, based on your real inventory, with an Elementor widget, a block and a shortcode.
See how it works- The plugin now updates from the WordPress panel like any other plugin. See how it works
- Blocks for People viewing, Recent sales and Low stock. See how it works
- The popup can go Bottom left or Bottom right and Show the product price.
- The popup is hidden on the cart and checkout by default, and if the customer closes it, it stays quiet for the minutes you choose. See how it works
- Optional buyer names, categories to include or exclude, the wait before the first popup, the "minutes ago" range and a maximum of popups per page.
- The People viewing number changes little by little instead of jumping, and the popup pauses while the tab is in the background.
- Cities go one per line in the panel.
- The panel warns you about unsaved changes, shows errors when saving fails, and warns when the popup has no products to show.
- A long popup duration no longer cuts the next popup short.
- The Elementor widgets respect the on and off switches of the panel and keep their look.
- The Save changes button no longer gets stuck when saving fails, and quotes in texts are saved as you wrote them.
Version 1.1.0 { July 2, 2026 }
- A Restore default values button in the panel.
Redesigned purchase popup
The purchase popup has a cleaner look, with a larger image and more refined text.
See how it works- The store loads lighter: the popup no longer queries the products on every page, and nothing loads when everything is off.
- The default city list grew to more than 130 Colombian cities.
- The popup had double inner spacing.
Version 1.0.0 { July 2, 2026 }
